Possible to install ITunes without install Quicktime?

Downloaded the ITunes software but it comes bundled with Quicktime. Quicktime (to me) is a piece of sh*t. I don't want any piece of that software to touch my computer.

So can ITunes be installed without installing Quicktime?
 
you can, but itunes gets screwed up (somehow i read it on some forums), so i just install itunes and quicktime, then do add/remove programs on quicktime.
