My boss has a huge contact list she compiled years ago, a Word .DOC file.

All follows the following format;

NAME
ADDRESS
PHONE NUMBER

Is there an easy way to import this single doc with all the contacts into Outlook?

Not directly. I think you need to get that data into Excel first,
then save it as a .csv file .. Outlook should then be able to
import it with no trouble.

See this link:

you can actually save the file as a text file from Word, then open that file in Excel

Choose delimited - space - and it should make the columns for you.

Importing into Outlook from there is very straight-forward.

I've done a ton of this type of stuff working with CRM systems and compiled databases of contacts & companies.
