Possible to have Wireless signal strength in % instead of bars?

i have the 6000 with built in Intel Proset wireless (802.11 b/g).

signal strength is measured in bars.

is there anyway to have it in % to pinpoint maximum signal strength?

thought netstumbler only worked with Orinco chipsets?

version 0.40 works with my laptop's built in wireless?!

yes, it will.

In the intel proset utility there should be a page that shows signal strenght in decibels (dbm). Not sure what page, but if it's a "details" button then it's not updated in realtime, you have to close it/open it again. I don't think, it's there, but I'm too lazy to dig the laptops with that card out. Plus I have the new proset utility installed atm.
