I finally upgraded my 17" crap monitor to a 19" flat-screen CRT today :) With this big new monitor, I would love to be able to run Windows under 1600x1200, or 1280x1024. However, my girlfriend complains about the print being "too small" at those resolutions.

My question to all of you is, can I run a different resolution under my Windows account (admin. account) than what she wants to run under her account (1024x768)? Unless i'm seriously missing something, I can't figure out how to make this happen. Whenver I change resolutions under either account, Windows applies it to all users.

Thanks for the help!!!

not 100% sure but i think you could use logon scipts and maybe a 3rd part program like powerstrip with saved profiles.

Change the display's DPI under advanced settings in display properties
Take a ruler and match it up with the onscreen ruler to make the text big again.
