possible to have 1 keyboard for 2 rigs?

trying to clear up some desk space....if i can get rid of one keyboard and use only one for both computers then that would be awesome....

is it even possible? and still work on 1 computer while the keystrokes do not affect the second one?

that's what KVM switches are for. allow you to use 1 keyboard, monitor, and mouse for 2 computers

search around here for KVM or search on google and you'll find lots of 'em out there
