Got any links about the -.5 - .5v spdif specs? I just can't bring myself to believe that they'd make 2 different versions of S/PDIF without labeling it. You'd have tons of incompatible DVD players and stuff 🙁

They didn't. The smaller voltage is the spec, creative just didn't follow it from what I can tell.
I'll keep my eye for an official SPDIF spec page for you.
 
Thanks! I'll be looking too 🙂 If SBLive is at fault, wouldn't we have destroyed our receivers by now (at least wouldn't it be distorted)?
