Possible to get Windows Media Player 12 to open minimized?

When I click directly on playlists or media files, is it possible to get WMP12 to load directly minimized (or hidden)? I know previous versions had the miniplayer feature, but this seems to be now absent in version 12. I might have to switch players, but thought I would ask just in case. BTW, I am running Windows 7 build 7100 64-bit. Thanks.

 
if you drag your WMP to the toolbar to create the shortcut there, if you minimize the window after launching, you can hover over the icon there to get a mini pop-up that has fast forward/rewind/pause/track info, etc. I think that's about all you get so far for 12.
