That's so strange, they could have just created a Gamecube controller that only works on Wii U to eliminate the clutter and expense of an adapter. But I guess there's some contingent of Gamecube gamers (and Wii too since it uses GC controllers) still around Nintendo caters to? That's pretty cool of them to not just forget about their old consoles nor making their new console buyers replace all their old controllers like the other two do. There's nothing better than 1st party controllers. I'm sure classic console gamers appreciate this move. I wish I could get my hands on new Microsoft S controllers for the original Xbox, only knockoffs are available now. Hey Nintendo, how about SNES pads?
