I am borrowing a dremel rom work and have already cut out around where my fans are so the air flow would increase. I was thinking of doing a window possibly. I know I wont be able to get the edges perfectly straight and I know That some window kits come with some special molding that holds te window and covers the cut area. Do you think I would be able to pick up the supplies at lowes? I know they have the plexi, but dont know about the molding needed.

theres a deal in the hot deals forum for a window kit for 11 dollars. theres 2 website mentioned in the post. just scroll down for the second site. here. the molding is already included.

if you've already bought the window, then i guess this wont help you that much cuz your looking for just the molding.

I was able to get everything except the molding at my local Lowes (which is a pretty crappy Lowes, others may have more stuff). Good luck finding molding; most online stores charge an arm and a leg for it.

You should be able to get everything locally. The molding won't be found at home improvement stores, try automotive. It should be called 2 piece window molding with locking strip. I read that on another site, but it seems correct. If anyone has instructions on how to mount a window and use the molding, it would be appreciated.
