Possible to get an Nvidia and ATI PCI-e card to play nicely?

I am trying to get a tri-monitor configuration running with dual 20"s on the sides, and a 24" LCD in the center. My main card is an XFX 8800 Ultra XXX edition. I tried to use a PCI nVidia 5500 video card to run the spare 20" lcd, but it makes my system bluescreen. I have a PCI-e ATI X1600 Pro kicking around, is there any way that it can be installed to run the third monitor while not causing problems with my 8800?

System Specs:
Q6600
IP35 Pro
4GB G.Skill
2x 250GB SATA RAID 0
Corsair HX620
Vista Home Premium x64

"Incompatible Display adapter has been disabled. At least one display adapter on the system has been disabled because its driver is not compatible with the driver for the VGA adapter."

My 8800 Ultra continues to work fine, but it won't let the X600 run.
