Question Possible to daisy chain MST hubs?

I've got a video card with one DP port. I also have a 2-port MST hub, which I can connect to the card to drive 2 DP monitors.

If I get another 2-port MST hub, can I daisy chain them to drive 3 DP monitors?

I.e., video card > MST hub > 1 DP monitor and 1 MST hub > 2 DP monitors

The card is DP 1.2 so it should be capable of driving 4 DP monitors at 1920x1080.

If anyone is wondering, the answer to a related question - can you daisy chain monitors off of a MST hub, the answer is yes.

Picked up a daisy chainable monitor today. Connected as follows:
  • video card DP port to 2-port MST hub
  • 1 port on hub to regular DP monitor
  • 1 port on hub to daisy chainable DP monitor
  • daisy chainable DP monitor output port to regular DP monitor

Also, I heard from StarTech, which makes MST hubs. MST hubs cannot be daisy chained. So that's out, but as prior post demonstrates, you can create a daisy chain of monitors from a MST hub.
