Possible to combine a 3 CD game to 1 DVD?

Is it possible to copy all the files from the 3 cds and burn them on 1 DVD (preserving file structure)? Has anybody tried this?

Depends on if each disc has all its file in a uniquely named folder. Copy protection might not work. What you can do is burn the image files onto a DVD then use a program like Daemon Tools to mount each image.

you could just copy CD1 over, and then have CD2 and 3 as other folders, and when it asks you for CD2 and 3, just point it to d:\CD1 or whatever your DVD drive is, as opposed to simply saying "it's in the DVD drive"

I'm pretty sure the copy protection will prevent this from working properly.
