the only reason i still keep my hotmail account is for msn...but now that you can create a ms passport with any email account i wanna switch mine over from the hotmail to my uni email...

but i dont want the hassle of having to redo my contact list and have ppl re-add me etc etc... is it possible to just add another email account or switch the account that's associated with the passport? thx eh! :)

Straight from the horses' mouth:

To change your .NET Passport e-mail address
You can change the e-mail address you use for .NET Passport sign-in only if the address is not part of a reserved domain such as hotmail.com or msn.com.
On the .NET Passport Member Services page, click Edit my .NET Passport profile.
(You will be asked to sign in to your .NET Passport if you have not already done so.)
Under your e-mail address, click I need to change this.
Type your new e-mail address and your current password.
Click Change.
We will send you an e-mail message with a link that you can click to verify your new e-mail address.

Verifying your e-mail address will ensure that we can respond to you if you contact us about a service issue. In addition, some .NET Passport-participating sites or services may require you to verify your e-mail address to take full advantage of their own services.

Note

Your new e-mail address cannot be part of a reserved domain such as hotmail.com or msn.com. Learn more about why your e-mail address can't be part of a reserved domain.
