Possible to buy your way into a company?

I want to work for Bank of America, even just starting out as a teller, but it's unlikely I'd be able to get the job through traditional means due to my lack of education and job history.

Do you think If I could get them to interview me offering to buy 1000 shares of stock upon hiring would get me in?

Assuming this isn't a parody thread: HR people don't care about how much stock you own or claim you will buy. And it's their job at stake if they hire you without you possessing the company-mandated skill set so even the knee pads probably won't help.

They're also big enough to afford background checks in bulk, so committing fraud by lying on your resume isn't the brightest idea ever.

If you want the job that badly, going (back to) school is likely to be your only chance, except maybe working for some fourth-rate mom & pop bank that does take bribes in the hiring process.

Invest the 80k in a mixed portfolio and use the money to go to school. Tellers don't make crap.
