I think it's ridiculous that a 1" peice of hardware costs $1000 and isn't allowed to be copied for security purposes. I know you can make a dump file of the contents of a USB HASP key, but is there a way to copy it into a thumb drive or does it have to be another HASP key?

If you don't like the terms, use a different program.

They are only using the HASP because of theft and license violations.

You could keep it locked up when not in use I guess, unless some kind eyepatch-wearing matey gives you the steps to crack the licensing.

I use it in my office where children run around all day... it has a bright red LED which beckons them. no way this thing will remain on my laptop forever.
