Possible stupid question

For the life of me, I can't remember if this matters or not.

I have 2 SATA hard drives and two IDE cdroms in my machine. Does it really matter if the IDE drives are plugged into the the Primary or Secondary IDE ports?

I just thought I would ask cause I can't remember if this is the right way to do things or dosen't really matter.
