Possible Stolen Truck.. With Pics

This truck is around the block from my house and a neighboor put this sign on it, i think its funny.

Stolen Truck Rear
Stolen Truck Front

The sign states the following
"ATTENTION: N.C.P.D
I have been abandoned here for 7 days, I think I am Stolen. Please have me towed OFF this block.
Thank You"

Edit: NCPD stands for Nassau County Police Department
The truck its got lots of bumps all over it.

Not my block.
Cops are always in front my house( firehouse) so i don't know why they haven't read the sign. Is it illegal to park a car on a public street with all the requirements for a long period of time, license, registration and inspection paperwork?

I can't prove that i only saw that sign yesterday. Obviously the neighboor that wrote the sign should call the police, besides i'm sure nothing is going to happen if its not stolen.

I see cars abandoned on the parkway for weeks and nothing happens, all they get is more tickets.

Naw... i want to see how long it takes for it to dissapear. I would only call if it was on my block or in front my house which has happen before.

This girl would come around 10pm at night and park her car on my street and moments later a mercedez or lexus would pick her up. After that the car would stay there all night until the morning. I put a note on her car telling her to stop parking there and she stop parking in my block.

Bother me that she left it there all night, like she was hidding, also she was taking a parking spot and its already tight around my block.
We have the all the neighboor cars and also the firehouse takes lots of spots when they have events.. i was just being an ass.

I didnt write it! someone else did.
But the truck does have lots of bumps all over it, the rear is bump, the left back tail light is cracked, the front right bumper is scratched also.

It possibly could have been stolen, taken for a ride and just dropped off there.

It hasn't been stripped yet and it has been sitting in Nassua County Long Island New York for 7 days!
