If you were poking around and found a mysterious RUN key in the registry called "lpguswud" and pointing to c:\windows\crtygksa.exe, and that file had no info (author, source, revision #), and google revealed nothing about it, and Ad-Aware just finished cleaning 500 items off of this pc (but not this one), would you be suspicious of this file?

ad-aware doesnt kill spyware, so its normal that if it were spyware it wouldnt be deleted.
run Spybot: Search and Destroy.

Uhm... That's just wrong, Ad-Aware does, in fact, kill spyware. It is not perfect however, and misses things sometimes. I second the run Spybot suggestion, because it sometimes catches things Ad-Aware misses. And vice versa. I run both Ad-Aware and Spybot simply because neither product catches everything. Also, if there were 500 items that Ad-Aware removed, I would run it several times after a reboot to have it see if it misses anything.

[edit]Oh yeah, make sure both are run with the latest updates.[/edit]

I use Ad-aware to remove spyware and SpywareBlaster to prevent it from being installed. I believe it works pretty good, provides two levels of protection.
