Got this from the CompUnitedStatesAmerica Ad that Triggerhappy007 scanned for this coming sunday (Major props to him) that it will have Sound Blaster Live X-gamer 5.1 for $99.99. Price match this with Stapler. Add something cheap and apply the $30 off $100 that could be found from Click Here.

Enjoy.

DDC Speed,

Can you please include the scanned ad? Did you PM online or at B&M? Thanks.

staples doesn't carry the x-gamer 5.1..At least I don't see it on their site. Staples regular price for the X-gamer 5.1 is $99 anyways, So I don't see why you would need to PM..

the scanned ad is Here for this coming weekend. Staples dont carry 5.1 online. :( However, some stores do carry it and you can try the possible deal.

DDC Speed,

I hate to admit this, but you threw me off with CompUnitedStatesAmerica. I failed to make the CompUSA connection. Oh well...

My questions appear pretty dumb now ...

I have my doubts about these new 5.1 line of cards. The live! 5.1 is still using the same EMU10K1 processor that I have in my old Live Value. The 5.1 is only for those that have an external AC-3 processor. If you are considering an internal AC-3 Dolby Digital processor, I would reccomend Philips Acoustic Edge. This card rocks. There are Analog and Digital cables for front, rear and center channel speakers, for a total of six plugs. So for you 4.1 systems, just add one more.
