Possible SLI combinations

I did a quick read back at anands article on possible SLI combinations -- it stated that identical GPU's must be used -- eg. 6600gt + 6800 = no go

but can a 6800gt + 6800 ultra be combo'ed together??? the performance of the ultra will be throttled to GT speeds?

what about a 6800NU + anything else besides the same card?
Any other cards that can be paired with non identical cards? Quadro series?

could the whole riva tuner unlocking pipes thing help here in creating even cards?

have there been reports of same cards but from different brands eg. gainward + bfg not working?

thanks

really??? in anands article it says the nvidia driver will automatically compensate for clock speed differences but will not detect different pipes/ architectures

Im inquised about if anybody got the rivatuner softmod to work once in SLI mode --eg 6800NU mod to 6800gt then + another 6800gt in SLI

Heard different brands won't work coz it requires the same bios versions for the two cards and at the same clock rate.

6800GT + 6800 Ultra will probably work if they are from the same manufacurer and you flash the 6800GT to 6800 Ultra or visa versa.
