POSSIBLE set release date for Doom 3

I know this is only a possibility, but it's worth hoping for. A lot of retailers are giving a release date of August 3rd for the game, according to Here. This sounds plausible for the expected summer release date. I know retailers in the past have set release dates that passed without any release, such as back in april and such, but I have a feeling this might be the real deal. Does anyone know if any of these local retailers are setting this date for release? I suppose it's time to cross some fingers again.

The August 3rd date has been floating around for quite some time now, and I'm suprised to see this date still lingering. I always take rumored release dates with a grain of salt.

Seems as if Doom 3 would be relesed on August 3rd, we'll be getting some news within a week or two about it going gold. Of course, id has been a tad stingy on the details, so we'll see. I'm more looking forward to HL2 though.

I think ebgames.com listed Augest 8th. I just hope my 6800GT comes before then
