Possible reasons for msn not working at school but icq working?

Any ideas? MSN is installed on nearly all the computer here, yet I've tried several accounts and tried creating a new one and it never is able to sign in here. However if I download ICQ I'm able to connect just fine. I wonder why... ? Anybody have a clue? None of these computers have fool-proof or any restrictive software on it.

I don't know this, but with my job maybe I'll be able to find out. I don't think it does, though. Why would it restrict ports? But it definitely would explain it. But i think others are able to log in.. I don't get it.

Well this is a college and i've seen (and used it myself) people use MSN all over the comp labs.. I'm trying to think of an alternative explanation. Anyway, math is in 10, so I gotta be a min early to get a seat. Later all.
