Possible PSU Problem. Help?

anyone know if it is possible to have one of the 4 pin connectors from a PSU go bad? 4 pin, as in the ones that connect to a HDD

Yes, it happens all the time - cheap contacts, loose crimps, corrosion, etc.

well, the problem i have been having is the computer screen randomly goes black and i have to use the PSU to restart it...any ideas on what this is? and btw, i switched 4 pin wires and it works fine now, and i used another PSU and it worked fine.
