So.... the Xbox shortage will be even worse because MS is busy replacing systems instead of shipping new ones to stores?

Awesome :)

Guess I'm not getting one till March :p

Just keeping the powerbrick off the floor solves alot of the problems from what I've read. I've got my 360 sitting in a bay in my entertainment center that is well ventilated. It worked out that my powerbrick is hanging in the air. I've not experienced a single crash or hiccup.

May be looking at a power cord recall.

The number one problem with the XBOX 360 is that it was released without any good launch games (but most people seem not to care).

 You're right. Project Gotham Racing 3, Perfect Dark Zero, Call of Duty 2, Condemned, Kameo, all the EA sports games, Amped 3 and the rest of the launch games absolutely suck next to the glory of Fantavision and Luigi's Mansion.

Ouch.

Anyway, I doubt that I'll ever buy an Xbox 360, as I abstained from the regular Xbox, but I'm definitely not buying one until the games no longer cost $60.

Ever hear of prices rising because of inflation? They cant cost $50 new forevor. It makes sense to do a price rise with a new console, and I'm sure sony will either follow suit or use the $50 price as a marketing advantage and make less money.

All of the Amped games sucked. Also, I have not played PDZ, but I thought it looked really stupid. I watched plenty of videos and read plenty of stuff on it, but am not interested in it at all. PGR3 is an awesome game though.

Well, NFSMW, Call of Duty 2, PGR3 and Condemed (never heard much on Kameo) look pretty damned good. If you open your mind you might actually *GASP* Like one.

I thought I had read that Sony would be doing $60 a game as well.

Yep, everyone might as well get used to it.

nfsmw I'm playing it on xbox and its incredibly repetitive and boring. I'm ranked #5 and I haven't been caught by the cops once. call of duty 2 I played on the computer and again there has been soooo many ww2 games that I feel like I'm playing the same game AGAIN? I've seen the videos of pgr3 and the graphics look good but what is new about it? Is it all new tracks or what, is there a new aspect to it from the others?

There really are no awesome launch titles that bring a new awesome idea to the table that make me want to plunk down 400 bunks. I think many people have taken a long look at the games and see nothing be rehashed sequels especially some of the EA titles.

lol, this is so predictable. this is quickly becoming the norm for system launches. In fact, we might as well pre-empt the problems on the PS3 and go ahead and get that thread started :p
