Possible problems w/ Staples $40 APS UPS rebate

Hello!

I like many of us purchased last week the $49 APS UPS at staples with the $40 rebate offer. I always send mine in right away. I was told by a Staples' manager today, if you pirchased your UPS with one of those $10 off $40 coupons, or other money off coupons, staples will send you a card rejecting your rebate.

The rebate form does mention "offer not valid with any other offer or promotion." I'd guess a $10 off $40 coupon could be considered a "promotion".

Anyone one have any officail word on this?

Does this mean the other $25 off $100 coupons would be okay? Also what is the deal with the $10 off $10 coupons?

Staples managers are known to BS us when we take them for a ride on really good deals. I would not worry. I have gotten every rebate that I was due from Staples and I do not think I have ever made a purchase without some form of a coupon.

Hopefully you are correct. It has been a while sice i did a staples rebate w/ a coupon. Hate to get screwed out of $40.
