Possible problem with solitaire

Did microsoft update W2K's solitaire cause when I finish a game, the cards jump out really slowly. The last time I'd play it was on w98 where the cards jump out at incredible speeds. So is there something wrong with my system or its a updated solitaire?
 
I remember a thread on this exact subject before. I don't remember any answers agreed upon though, other than bloatware.
