Possible Problem with a trader

I "bought" a laptop from him on the 23rd. Money was sent and all I wanted was a little reply saying he received the payment and would send it out after Christmas cause I understand this could be too stressful of a time to deal with shipping out something to me, let alone presents. But it's been almost 48 hours and he has yet to even send me a PM. I checked his online status and he has been logged onto the forums at least once since I sent him the PM about my payment. Yet, he hasn't contacted me at all.

Should I be worried or more patient? Any opinions would be helpful. Also, if I posted this in the wrong forum, please re-direct me. Thanks.

I'd say give the seller a day or so to get anything cleared up, then start worrying. It sucks that some people won't keep you in the loop (even if you ask them to do so), but it happens.

OMG HOW DID YOU KNOW????? honestly dude most people here know how to use the search function. maybe not saying it was for a laptop would have helped a little, not much but a little. anyway...

i don't think i would have paid up front for a laptop to someone with only 3 heat but thats just me i guess. you probably should have used escrow or something.

Maybe the fact that nobody is open to ship untill Monday,

AND the fact that many people go to see others Christmas eve,and Christmas day has a little to do with
the fact that you have had no reply.

Maybe you can invent the transporter,and that way when you buy something,
Poof it will be next to you in 39 seconds! :disgust:

Oh and did you use paypal, or is the check.money order in the mail?

 
Apparently, he is looking for a bank! Maybe he wants to deposit all that money he stole from you and flee the country. Or maybe he is going to steal money from the bank too and he just wanted a recommendation from everyone so he could hit up the "people's favorite". Or maybe you just need to chill out and enjoy christmas.
