So, I've been using the the website CAN You Run It as a way to find out if I can run certain games. Recently I looked into the system requirement for Wolfenstien 2 and one of the requirements to run the game is 4 GB of Dedicated Video Ram. The site said I had 3 GB of Dedicated VRAM, but when I checked for myself it turns out I have 4.096 GB of Dedicated VRAM.

So what gives?

Why don't you link the GPU you have and perhaps the rest of your system. Integrated GPU's share your system RAM, and some configurations, due to using both your IGP and GPU can show a mix. Some programs simply are buggy when reading that information.

I sometimes wonder about the quality of those sites.
Did it offer you a link to video card sales? Cuz I bet its really just a scam to get you spending money.

Why do people still use that website? I can't even trust it as a baseline "yea I can probably run this game". I remember first using that site and it said I couldn't run Oblivion or F.E.A.R as I had Oblivion running in the background at high settings. I then built a new PC with a GTX 260 and it said I could run Oblivion on low settings. My next rig (specs below) but with SLI 670s was told I would be unable to run Skyrim or Borderlands 2...

That site is a complete joke. If you don't know anything about computer hardware, you would be far better off asking here or on the respective Steam discussion or even the game's dedicated forum. You will receive far more accurate information from people who deal with PC hardware for a living than some poorly-coded website.
