i've had this psu for maybe 7-8 months, first it was running a athlon 64 3200 system with a x1900xt oc'ed a little, it ran fine for 5-6 months, then it started randomly rebooting during some games, now its upon booting of those specific games. i replaced my board, ram, cpu, and video card(old one stopped working, oc and temps werent that high), and its still doing it, im assuming that its the psu but im not 100%. people with lesser systems are getting more frames in games that i play so im 90% sure its the psu. i just need to confirm it before i go out and buy a psu, and does anyone know of a good modular 600-800w psu on the market from a reliable site? i like the modular idea, but i can go with a regular one if i need to.

Sounds like you did some troubleshootings to narrow down the issue. However my suggestion is use a voltmeter to test the PSU or borrow? a PSU from your buddy.

heh, of course i reinstalled windows, upon every hardware change i do. i dont have a voltmeter to check the power changes. one thing i can say, is that when i do look at it through speedfan, it seems pretty steady, but im taking that with a grain of salt

So, modular switched mode power supply is in your agenda? Kind of little expensive for a personal computer. :D
