Red Cross behind gitmo allegations

So one of the sources of the allegations has not changed it's tune and yet the article remains retracted.

I still think the retraction is false, but necessary.

Why is it necessary?

Because OUR AMERICAN Administration is SO Morally Bankrupt that when their crimes and offenses get aired in the public it angers the rest of the world and they want to kill our troops with even more fervor.

But the Freepers here LOVE THIS SH!T .. "Bring It On"

Anyone want to take bets as to when the administration will start attacking the credibility of the red cross??

Technically - the ONLY part of the story that Newsweek retracted is the reference to
'The Pentagon will be confirming part of the story in the future' - the story stands.

The Pentagon has pressured whoever the witness to the allegations was to not name the time and place,
or HIS name will be smeared, and HE will be the individual who is dragged through the mud and becomes career limited.
