Possible Need for Speed: Most Wanted oddities on 7800GTX?

I'm a little paranoid when it comes to nVidia and image quality after my 6800GT\X800XL experience, so these kind of things bug me if its nVidia related only and not due to the way the game was designed. The game looks great in some parts, and in others, it looks simply bleh.

1. The shadows. They look extremely blocky all around, kind of like the Far Cry shadows on nVidia hardware. Also, the shadow of my front bumper will sometimes look strange.

2. The rear view mirror looks like crap. Highly pixelated. I can't even make out the cars as they get behind me.

3. Car decals look pretty low res compared to everything else:
