Hi! I've grown up and lived in Los Angeles for most of my life, but there is a very exciting job opportunity for me in Fort Worth. For those in the know, what can I expect as a young (if late-20's is still young) bachelor moving there from LA? What areas should I look into living (probably would like to rent for the time being)? I would like to look for areas to live where the demographic is young and single. Also, what can I expect in the way of fun things to do, and such, compared to LA? I'd appreciate any info any of you may have to help me make this decision. TIA

He he, you're moving to Ft Worth?

Seriously though, the downtown has been renovated & is pretty cool, you're just a hop & a skip from Dallas too.

Just do a google search for stuff in the DFW metroplex, I think you'll find we have just about everything CA has except the beaches & there's no state income tax.

BTW, it's hot as hell in the summertime here.
