I've thought James Franco was absolutely EXCELLENT in providing a convincing character who's high in Pineapple Express. If you haven't seen that movie already, see it JUST for Franco's performance. I truly believe it's worth a nomination.

I haven't seen Tropic Thunder yet, but just seeing the poster of Tropic Thunder w/ Downey Jr. in that silly getup cracks me up. He could very-well be not be on this list, but I truly believe at least Franco and Ledger be nominated.

Ledger will most likely win like you say, but I don't see the academy nominating Franco or Downey Jr.
