I had to reformat and reload XP this past week. The program would load the generic drivers then go to the "setup is starting windows" screen and freeze. Tried everything I was advised to do-no help. Finally I disabled USB in bios and it worked. I re enabled it during the first reboot and every thing went well. Just thougt I'd pass this on to possibly help someone in the future.
