Possible issues with Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3

So I built a computer for a co-worker last night and it started up with no issues but after about an hr I ran into problems when I had to turn it off.
when it loads it stays on and run with no issue.. but whenever I start the computer it will get to the Win7 Loading screen and just turn off.. and it takes about a couple tries to get the computer to load Win 7 but once it does.. it runs beautifully with no issues???

Any suggestions?? Parts list below

Thanks so much for your help!! this has me completely baffled and befuddled!!

This to me sounds like either a CPU heat issue or a power supply not good enough issue.

Just for a sanity check, have you tried another power supply on it? Have you tried running it with a bare minimum of parts? Have you held your finger to the side of the heatsink as it boots for at least 10 seconds to see if you feel pain? pain threshold at 10 seconds is somewhere in the neighborhood of 50c and if it gets to that while booting something is wrong.

Is this the information you were looking for??

I tried the touch test.. and its cool to the touch for a while.. and starts to slowly warm up.... and unfortunately I do not have a spare PSU laying around.. I guess I will have to take out a PSU from one of my other computers.. to test this...
