Possible HOT deal? Viewsonic VG150 15" lcd for $250 after MIR

I've been searching for a sub $300 lcd, and i stumbled across this. I haven't done this yet, so i don't know if it will work for sure... but it looks good!

Dell has 10% off all non-dell monitors. (Supposedly they have a 15% off coupon for software&peripherals, but i could not get that one to work). I also found a $100 mir for 15" viewsonic monitors at office depot's rebate site. However, the rebate is mailed directly to viewsonic and nowhere does it mention office depot, so i assume this could be used for purchases at dell too.

That would make this $388.95 - 38.90 (10%) dell coupon - 100 viewsonic MIR = $250.50

If anyone can get the 15% off coupon to work please let me know cuz then i will really want this baby.

got this exact monitor with the same kind of deal this fall. i bought it at office depot (a participating retailer), pricematched to dell with amex blue when they were having 20% (i think) off and got the $100 rebate. total came out to about $230 with shipping. a GREAT monitor. i love it. this kind of deal is still avaliable, just a little more now because the price at dell is a little more. could chance it and wait for them to have a better sale. the rebate has been around for years at viewsonic, so i doubt it is going anywhere.

EDIT: also, some people said they got office depot to pricematch dell's price. you can then use one of office deopt's coupons to make the deal even sweeter. must try to get a nice csr for it to work.

I just got my rebate on this monitor yesterday. Purchased 1 at dell.... purchased 1 a bestbuy you'll figure out the rest if you want it bad enough.
