I just got a Fry's ad in the newspaper today, and it said that they were selling the hard drives for $149 minus a $50 MIR. I can't seem to find the rebate anywhere online, and it's not reflected at outpost.com.

I recently purchased this hard drive elsewhere for $137 a couple weeks ago. Is there anyway I could use this same mai-in rebate?

I hope this turns into a hot deal for everyone!
 
A bit of a repost (they had the same sale just last weekend - couple threads on AT about that), but...

Fry's rebates are generally an agreement they have struck with the manufacturer. If you purchased elsewhere, you're out of luck.
 
giambi77: I'd be happy to send you a scanned copy of the rebate form later this morning. (I'm at work now and it's on my PC at home.) However, AFAIK, the rebate was a special "Fry's only" type of deal.
 
The Seagate rebate form say "Exclusively for Fry's" good thru 2/28. However, Fry's sale on the drive ended 2/26.
