I've gotten some strange error messages the past few days, among them one that occurs when opening Photoshop, "Unable to continue because of a hardware or system error. Sorry but this error is unrecoverable."
In addition, I rebooted last nite to see if that error would clear up, but instead my motherboard lost recognition of my hdd until I opened the case and switched the power connector out on the hard drive.
However, not that the hard disk is recognized again, the same error exists in Photoshop.
Is this a warning sign that the hardware may be about to die? This is a Western Digital hard drive, 80gb 7200 that is less than a year old.
