in a story @ The Inquirer a man supposedly ran a benchmark on an AMD Demo box running an 800MHz Opteron. Anyway, I know this is the Inquirer and that it quite possibly may be fake... but still, it does spark some interest.

Did some searching and found no one posted about it... if its a repost... sorry.

Be sure to check out the other results for many other CPU's/systems... quite interesting.
 
I remember hearing about this quite a while back. 800mhz Hammer=1.6ghz willmette(sp). Not sure if this is the same report though.

I remember that one, too. I think it was a German site, wasn't it? So this seems to be different, if not credible.

Would someone like to explain the benchmarks? I have no idea if I should be impressed or not...
