possible free gift from newegg...check your order status

I've ordered several small things from newegg recently...mostly refurbs. I was just checking to see if my latest order had shipped. Guess what...I've got a free gift valued at $10 according to them coming to me shipped free also. Perhaps they are sending these out to recent customers. Everyone check your order status and post if you are getting something.

Sorry to post this here if I'm the only one getting this, but if I'm not...it's a hot deal for many with no effort at all. Please no flames stating I should have posted this in the brag and moan. I will mark delete on it, if it is very limited or I am the only one.

EDIT: I received an AMD T-Shirt. Couldn't they have thought of something other than a T-Shirt? I would have rather gotten a floppy drive instead of an advertisement for AMD. I'll end up giving my T-Shirt away. It's not even the right size for me. Oh well, it was free, but I hate to see that money wasted on something not even wanted.:frown:

Did you send them some sort of "Praise" e-mail ? I did twice, and both times they shipped me a free gift.
Last time i got a really cool AMD pen and T-Shirt, pretty damn nice.
I lub newegg.

I sent them nothing but a dead Dragon Plus board. That was my first order with them. They replaced it reasonably quickly (not blazing by any stretch of the imagination) so I ordered about 5 or 6 more times quickly. I've been impressed with the streamlined approach they have, but it does have it's limits. I can't wait to see what it is.

<< "free gift..." isn't that redundant? :) >>

Sometimes "gift" means pay shipping. I hope I'm not the only one they've choose to show a little love to. I was thinking this might have been a wide spread thing.

I see that they found another way to unload all that RMAed crap. I guess paying the extra shipping is cheaper than paying a disposal fee!;)

forget about free gift, they forgot to include AS-3 with my friends order and now we have to wait for that to assemble the PC.

What the heck, people are getting 800MHz Intel Itanium 64bit Processors with 4MB cache!!?!?!?!?!?! If so,I'd better get something from them, I order from newegg like once every month, but I haven't ordered anything recently. Perhaps I should?

Cool, I have a $5 discount, listed on my order that was not there when I placed the order this morning! Nifty!

I guess i order to much from them. This order puts me over 10k from them since the beginning of last year ;)
