Possible fraud

I have a charge on one of my checking accounts I never use from some entity called IPS. Called the bank and they said it was some company called IPS out in California (I live in Florida.) They gave me the number (866-500-6113.) Called it and it says the voice mailbox was full.

Needless to say I'm filing a fraud complaint put a block on the check card but was just worried somehow I had inadvertently used an old card with Paypal or eBay, but I checked that and didn't have any transactions on that date or for the amount listed.

Anyone ever heard of IPS?

After seeing your article for "Tiny Credit Card Charges", I decided to look at my credit card bill online. Wouldn't you know that I had a charge for $9.80 from a company listed as lps 866-500-6113 Ca. I decided to Google this instead of calling the number. Some people had started a blog about this phone number saying that their cards were charged for the same amounts and that the number was an answering machine telling them to call back later. I immediately called my credit card company and they are cancelling my card, refunding me and sending me a new number. Thank you!!!!!

Holy crap. Thanks! Never thought this would happen to me. Makes me wonder how the hell they got the card information.
