Possible damaged PSU, I would like to test it....

Hey all,

I have a 610W PCP&C psu, I believe it is damaged as I plugged the wrong 4 pin into the mobo (plastic smell). This was quite some time ago and would like to test it again to make sure it is not toast.

I have a few motherboards but is it worth the risk? I purchased a cheap 15$ PSU tester and on a few dead psu's it is reporting good results (cheap crap tester).....

 
Good PSU's (like PC P&C's) have circuitry that protects them from noob mistakes, like what you did. That PSU should work just fine.
