possible bottleneck?

I am in queue for the EVGA step-up program atm for a EVGA 7900GTX. I plan to go SLI in a month or so when they become more available. I now have a AMD64 4000+ {single core model} could this cpu end up becoming a bottle-neck?
or should I ask this over at the cpu forum?

I don't think it's a bottleneck. At least not yet. Games now just arn't multi-threaded (yet) but that will change but I still think your fine with your processer.
You overclock it? Do you do a lot of multi-tasking on computer?

No, not a bottleneck (IMO).

But, maby one day, when you have some extra cash, just bump it up to an Opty 165 and overclock the hell out of it (if your that paranoid about a bottleneck 😛)

Then I really don't see the need to upgrade. Anything more then what you have (2x7800gt) would be serious overkill with that monitor, even with every detail on high. Now if you had one of those orgasmic dell widescreen's that would be a different story, but in your case I am strongly advising you not to upgrade your video card/s until you get a better monitor.
