I was thinking a little while ago about all the computers we have sitting around at my school... Not great ones, C300s, PII400s, C600s, the best are probably about PIII800s or so, but there's a lot of them, close to 300, all sorts of speeds sitting on and unused almost all of the time... So's I says to myself, I says "These would be great for SETI"... So, I started trying to figure out how I was going to get permission to assimilate them... And it looks like I've found a way... A buddy of mine is in a lot of computer courses and stuff, and knows some of the tech people pretty well, he's helped me along with this, so far, approval has been good, I just need the approval of the head honcho of the computer department, and voila, a whole junkload of WUs every day for me and the TeAm... I'm thinking it should probably get about 300 WUs per day, not too shabby if you ask me :)

LOL
I have no dout the school would let you do it if you put it to them in a way that makes it sound like it's for science. Other schools are participating in the project. You might be on to something there. Good Job! ;)

Hopefully you can arrange for your ID to be in these computers. AFTERBURNER could use the boost - at least until October 31.

I'm glad you aren't still on Team Canada! :)

What OS do the computers run? A service installation would be optimal here. ;)
