Possessed DVD Drive

I am soooo pissed, this started happening about3 months ago. I have an LG combo DVD-ROM/CD-R drive. If I try to burn a CD, rip a Dvd using dvdshrink, dvd decrypter my hard locks, if I eject what ever media is in that drive the computer unfreezes.

My burner has always given me trouble with rewiriting CDs..

might want to head over to videohelp. Could be as simple as a firmware update.
