Could have used the term ADDRESSING rather then Assignments or perhaps Scrambling the BIOS through Software Driver Conflicts.

From my experience after Black Screens and BSOD's are subject to loading altered MB BIOS on ReBoot Vs a conflict with a Hardware Driver.

Reload your BIOS with a saved CMOS or Kill the power and Load Default and reconfigure CMOS?

What's your experience?
