Positional Audio and Remote Media player

Looking for a device that can play audio files and output to a surround sound amplifier. I need it to work with a DMX type control system for input from a microcontroller. It needs to be able to play multiple sounds/tracks at a time if possible. I would love to do that all wireless or have a controller that can interface to do so.

I'm looking to see if anyone knows if there is such a product in existence?

It can be done using sound cards with multiple outputs run through a mixer. That's assuming you want to play different tracks in different zones.

Wirelessly, could be done with something like an Airport Express, which could interface with an amp in each zone via standard 3.5mm to RCA audio cables. I would assume you could accomplish it running multiple instances of iTunes then just use AirPlay to send audio to each router. It's not a cheap or clean solution though.
