POS software

i'm considering the purchase of a POS system & software and a kitchen display system. it will be used for full service dining, take-out, catering, and possibly delivery. while i'm at it, i'm also considering a 4 camera DVR system for monitoring employees.

i'd appreciate any input, advice, or a point in the right direction. what kind of software? hardware? dvr systems? personal experience with such software?

im not sure if there is a dvr setup that will include the pos system, although some installers will have experience with both. usually the pos is just a adapter that does text overlay and goes between the dvr and camera.

check out microsoft, I believe they have POS/Kitchen solutions for restraunts.

quickbooks POS...they make the cash register include a SYMBOL scanner and everything with it too these days
