My wife was rear ended a couple weeks ago and while her car is in the shop she gets a 2003 Hyundai Sonata with less than 800 miles on it as a replacement to her BMW 325i (what's wrong with this picture???).
I had a chance to drive this piece of crap last weekend and it is a horrible little car. The windows rattle when rolled down (hmm, where have I heard that before??? ), the transmission is clunky, the engine is REALLY noisy at idle (4 banger) and the trunk doesn't close correctly (I had to slam it hard 3 times before it latched). The steering feels very disconnected from the road and the car wallows when making quick maneuvers. Man, I see the quality of Korean cars hasn't gotten any better even though they seem to be gaining market share.
I don't care if it does have a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty. I would never buy one.
