the street and it's not good news...

i'm going to keep track...

i started working here 3 months ago and gained 5 lbs already...

this is going to be interesting b/c it's a morning stop for coffee as well as breakfast or snacks...

i'll typically hit it up in the morning for breakfast, sometimes for lunch, and in the afternoon for a snack (or i'll buy the one for the afternoon in the morning). My inner fat kid is back :D

my favorite stuff from there includes:

ham & cheese omelette on a croissant
chocolate croissant
cheese roll
strawberry & cheese croissant
almond danish
turkey croissant
tuna croissant
fruit tart
creme brulee

anyone else been there and can vouch for the yum factor??

i swear i had never heard of this place, and as soon as i mentioned it to people, everyone in socal was like zomg!! that place is good!!

where is your spot, what city is it in, and what's good?

My work is 5 minutes away from it and I have gone there only 3-4 times in the last 5 years. They're OK.

I live next to Glendale (Northridge). Oh, and I'm Armenian... we'll, half-Armenian anyways. :p

PSA: The ATOT Glendale meet will include, but is not limited to, large amounts of open chests, gold chains, BMW's, MB's, and kebab. That will be all.

Price wise :). $10 for a slice of macadamia nut cheesecake as opposed to a $1.00 pineapple bun...pineapple bun wins.

I'm kind of asian.

Porto's really good. I've lived in Eagle Rock, suburb next to Glendale, for most of my life. And I've been going to Porto's for 10 years now. They started out with just the bakery shop, then they bought the store space right next to them and tore down the walls to make the sandwich place next door. I love those Potato Balls and Cubano sandwich. Awesome stuff.
